Kanter will be a much better rebounder than Brook but he seems like a good comparison. Even more than Al Horford. I think Brooks is one of the more offensively talented centers in the league and I hope Kanter will be right there with him.
 
We don't have a comparison right now. But Lopez has incredible size (true 7-footer, 7' 5" wingspan, 9' 5" standing reach) for starters, and I'm sure will be the better defender of the two. Kanter is probably the better pure post threat as well.

But we'll see.
 
As pointed out, Kanter's physical attributes aren't comparable to Lopez's. But I do believe, and I hope, that Kanter is a better rebounder than Lopez.
 
I try to avoid any hyperbole, so I say with no spin .. I believe Kanter is a top 1 to 3 rebounder in the league, as soon as he's playing 30 minutes.
 
I'd like to know how all of you come to these conclusions? Other than a few YOUTUBE highlight videos, have you watched him play at all? Not trying to be a dick here, but seriously, you all sound retarded.

Though I have seen him play, this is a message board .. full of guessing, hyperbole, chest-thumping, and speculation. Sound retarded, definitely. Rabid fans on a message board are anything but rational experts. This is most assuredly not the place to spend your days looking for professional analysis.

i did watch in tv, but actually those highlights give a better opinion because he played only few mins in that game , he was just 16.
You cant guess exactly what kind of player he will turn out to be but you can have some opinion about a player's potential if you see some highlights , not just mix of a few dunks.
His stats and highlights are proving he is very very good rebounding but of course noone expects him to be the rebounding leader in his rookie year
