He'll be fine, these are solid plays for his first game back after 2 years.


The video looks pretty good to me. I'm optimistic about his post defense and his rebounding. Not many people can push Fess out of the lane. Fess is like 280 lbs.
 
After watching these 3 games, I went back and watched the Nike Hoops Summit highlights (I know, I know). Couple things were pretty obvious;

- The rust is obvious vs. where he was more than a year ago
- He was the focal point of the offense, vs. not being used at all the past few days
- The guys he was playing against in the Summit were not 'small' and ALL OF THEM are/will be NBA players and at least 6 have been/will be lottery picks

Not building a case, just observations from back then to now.
