It’s absolutely infuriating to me that there was no Trump/Epstein investigation during the Biden Administration with the mysterious circumstances surrounding Epstein’s alleged jail cell suicide. And the money trail as well with over a billion in wire transfers from one account (post mortem to my understanding).

The Dems are at a distinct disadvantage as a party of idealist ideologues against Trump’s ruthless cutthroat’s. The alleged assassination attempt of Trump on July 13th, 2024 is a good example. Instead of insuring that there was a thorough investigation and that Trump’s ear was examined by a certified medical practitioner, the Biden administration allowed the Republicans to seize control of the situation redirecting focus onto the Director of the Secret Service (Ms Cheadle) testifying before an ad hoc committee a mere 9 days later during which time a thorough investigation into what actually transpired was trampled on and the critical moment lost! Meanwhile, like the bloodied pro wrestler, Trump pops up from the floor behind the podium with his fist to the sky for his glory shot! (How does a bullet graze flesh without a mark?)

Dems are regularly being targeted since Gabby Giffords and Nancy Pelosi (January 6th as well) and the Dems still wearing their white gloves, I just don’t get it. Now, it’s not only the politicians, as Trump’s Supremely Corrupt Court paves the way for the gradual eradication of Citizen rights in this Country while enabling the dismantling of Democracy.

The reason they didn't look into Epstein is 2-fold, 1) there are likely plenty of dems or dem donors, in the lists. This is the primary reason they left it alone and 2) they didn't believe Trump would win. The believed the danger was past so why stir up the **** when they didn't need to. Now they are more than willing to throw plenty of dems under the bus in order to take down Trump. Just shows you how corrupt our political body as a whole has become.

That said its all just more red meat for the white supremacist base. I watched that farce of a discussion on Jubilee, what struck me was the unashamed racism of these young people. I get it, people have always been racist but at least they used to hide it, the new KKK takes the hood off and gets all over social media. Its shameless.

Good points, per se concerning Dem donors etc., and no Dem wants to see Bill Clinton implicated, but if Clinton was involved we certainly would have seen something similar to what’s been chronicled and continues to come to light about Trump/Epstein by now. And knowing just how committed (and “should be committed”) his base is, the Dems should have better anticipated Trump’s re-ascendance, particularly given Biden’s age and decline. And to that point, the Reps are certainly not shy about launching a full scale investigation into the cognitive decline of Biden and who was complicit in covering it up.

So back to my point, my intended point, of a Biden investigation into the mysterious circumstances of Epstein’s jail cell “suicide”. As much as Trump tried to deflect attention at the time by pointing at the Dems (my recollection was him invoking the name Bill Clinton), it was Trump’s administration and only he could have authorized such an obvious breach of jailhouse protocol. His supposed investigation was an obvious cover-up not addressing the failure of surveillance cameras or the removal of his cellmate during the period in question. There is testimony from a criminal or criminals housed in Metropolitan Correctional Center that self inflicted suicide is a total impossibility in that facility.

Does anybody honestly not believe that had the shoe been on the other foot and the Epstein “suicide in incarceration” had happened during the Biden administration that Trump would not have had it investigated? Not for a second! The Dems are much too accommodating particularly in the current post-Trump political environment.

I’m guessing Garland wanting to “move past” perceived political vendettas was the primary motive here, not because he was trying to protect donors. It took him over one year to look into Jan 6. And that was only after Cheney and the Jan 6 commission made it so obvious that Garland needed to investigate it that the DOJ would’ve been burned down had he ignored it any longer. Garland was overly cautious. Had garland done his job and delivered swift justice instead of tip toeing around everything, we would be in a far better place right now.
