From 28 to 24. Now we come in at 19. Up 5 spots.

"A rout of the Suns. A buzzer-beater from Gordon Hayward with a high degree of difficulty to slay LeBron's Cavs. And a one-point escape in Detroit to start a five-game trip out East when Brandon Jennings couldn't convert at the buzzer. Give Utah this: Every win so far has been memorable."

It feels like we are on the right path. I'd love to sneak into the bottom of the playoffs this year, but as long as i see this type of play for most of the year ill be satisfied. its fun to watch the jazz again.

There are sure to be rough patches (still 1-2 more games against Dallas for example) but I agree that the Jazz are headed the right way.

Snyder appears to be the right man for the job so far. Got to improve that D more but I love the effort.

Yeah, we're definitely heading in the right direction. More importantly, the young guys are learning, the team is fun to watch, and the future truly IS bright - those aren't just words.

As for playoffs, I don't think we have a prayer - it all hinges on Portland, in my mind. If they have some sort of collapse - either due to injury or some major chemistry issue setting everything awry - we have a strong shot at winning the NW Division.

the write up on the Clippers:

"Team-wide shooting woes have sapped some of the Clippers' early spirit, but you figure that'll pick up. Not so clear is what Doc Rivers does about Matt Barnes' struggles and the corresponding lack of driving lanes when the Clips are playing 4-on-5 offensively. Overall team depth is an issue, too."

At some point somebody is gonna have to give Doc crap about how he's managed the end of his roster. It's been a consistent problem since he's been in LA. I'm not surprised his team has gone from "shallow depth" to "no depth."

Redick and Barnes are both shooting under 30% on their 3's. Sounds like they could use a little Novakaine to soothe their shooting pains.

I doubt we have a chance, either. Sacramento, New Orleans and Phoenix all look solid enough to make the playoffs. All three missed last season, so who gets pushed out? OKC is likely one of the teams to miss; they may just be too far behind once Westbrook and Durant return and start clicking. Heck, even SA looks like they might struggle to get in. I'd say 50 wins - at least - is required to make the WC playoffs, with 11 teams capable of winning that many. Only Utah, Denver, Minnesota and the Lakers appear to be out of serious consideration for the playoffs.

We're nowhere near the playoffs. We're a savvy stretch-4 and a perimeter defensive specialist away from even decent odds.

Loser mentality right here. "We'd be great if only we have ..... "

We're making the playoffs this year. Book it.

I wouldn't call that a loser mentality. I'd call it pragmatic. If only we had Julius Randle to play some SF, right Nicky? ;-)

Phoenix nearly made the playoffs last year with absolutely no star power. It's possible.

I don't respond well to people who anticipates the Jazz losing.

Man, after you changed your name and stopped being the most irritating twelve year old schoolgirl on these forums I promised myself I was going to stop trolling every post you made.

But you're making it really hard, Nicky, when you spout out your typical drivel. Really, really hard. Come on buddy, you were doing so well there!

Edited to add:

The way you behave would make both Bob Marley AND JP Gibson want to punch you in the face.
