ESPN Season Preview

with corbin we are 25 win team. but with snyder we are 35 win team. in snyder we trust.

And that would be with the exact same team. Snyder could have gotten around 35 wins with last year's bunch. For one, they wouldn't have quit on him the last 30 games.

Reading the article I'm surprised they put such a large emphasis on Exum. Even the biggest Dante fan can't expect him to be a factor as early as this season. It stands to reason that the biggest difference for this lone season will be the young vets on already on this team and the coaching change, not a 19 year old rookie with little experience playing against players of this caliber to boot.

I thought Pelton would give us more love, Locke shows him a lot of love by getting him on podcast.

Our half-court defense is still an issue, even with Gobert. Look at how Blake just dominated us in preseason. I know Blake is a top 5 player and all, but he made it look like he got buckets inside whenever he felt like it.

I think it goes the other way around - Locke should be happy to be able to bring Pelton on :P

You are right about our defense. I am still a bit worried. It wasn't just Blake, even Aldridge abused our defense and had almost a point per minute played in one of the games. The good thing is our transition defense has been fantastic so far - we've allowed just 8, 10 and 7 in the 3 games(the average for the league is 13.3), which is fantastic improvement compared to last year(15.6) if we can keep it, and one of the games was against the second best team in transition - LAC(18.2).

This.

Corbin played the Jazz under their potential. Snyder's effect only will be minimum 5 games, the improvement of the team and the new players will add min 5 games as well. That makes 35 wins.

Add to that minimum 10 wins too which will come from my support this season. It's 45 wins and that will carry us into the play-offs.

I think 35 wins is reasonable. A lot of that will be improvement from the current roster, and having a coach who knows that letting a player who has a hot hand stay in the game isn't punishment.

Just saying that makes me realize how much I hated Corbin.

The bolded statement is making my head spin. I think I know what you were trying to say, but the conflicting words and images are waging an epic battle in my brain. Regardless, I completely agree with your conclusion.
