Obviously we can't post the exerpt, but does somebody with Insider want to tell us all where the Jazz are ranked?
 
8, down from 6.

Since two paragraphs of an Insider story is what is permitted (right?):

Despite multiple setbacks this summer, Utah's future continues to look bright. In particular, Deron Williams shines at point guard and Paul Millsap is a young, tenacious power forward. In the short run, losing Carlos Boozer and Wesley Matthews will hurt, but Al Jefferson should fill Boozer's shoes as an interior scorer and rookie Gordon Hayward brings a lot to the table as well.

Part of the drop from 6 to 8 is that the Jazz don't have New York's pick anymore and their darft rating slips. He also comments that Kirilenko is a good trade chip.

My Thunder are #3. That's a little too high, I believe. It's almost time for them to start paying top dollar for their young talent. I think they are being overrated the same way Portland was about 2 years ago. Jeff Green is probably the most overrated young talent in the league.

I like greens game. Can play at dif spots and isnt a bad shooter. Your right that they got talent though. Harden i like as a role player and durant is a stud. I got them number 2 in the west

I have said this a million times it feels like but I will say it again.

Thunder are very very overrated. They surprised everyone last year. Anytime that happens teams spend the entire summer scouting them. Durant will be the only player who won't take a step back or stay the same. He will be better or the refs will make him better.

Jeff Green is a very good role player but he is nothing more. I am glad the Thunder think there core is so great because they aren't looking to improve. Jeff Green is tapped out in talent. He cannot get better. And the Thunder have NO inside scoring at all. And they did nothing to improve that.
Westbrook will be exposed next year. He has no shot and has bad shot selection. Teams will expose him and keep him from getting to the hoop. Which means he will settle for more outside shots.
Ibaka is good but he won't get enough playing time. And Aldrich will help on defense but offensively he won't do much.

Thunder matched up well against the Lakers and they also caught them off guard. Look for the Thunder to be from 5-8 this year in the west. I will make a bet on that also if someone wants to.

1-Lakers
2-Mavericks (Good depth and will have better chemistry this year)
3-Jazz (I am usually pretty negative on the Jazz each year just FYI)
4-Nuggets (Same out Nuggets nothing new)
5-Blazer (Roy will be healthy but him and miller will struggle to coexist. Bigs will be healthy though)
6-Spurs (Parker & Manu will be healthy & Splitter will help Duncan a lot)
7-Thunder (No reason for much improvement)
8-Rockets (Yao could bump them a lot higher if healthy)

This is only the regular season. Playoffs are a different story

The only reason I posted that comment was because some people might think I am saying one team is better than the other overall. I wast pointing out that it was regular season only. Not who was finish the entire year the best.
It was not to point out that people might not know the playoffs are different. Like the way you took it.
