The only TO I saw was a bad call. Can't comment on the rest. His defense was superb though, he blocked a shot and altered 3 or 4 in the 4 minutes I saw him play. Would have been helpful in stopping McCaleb on Macedonia.
 
If I was a country I would just naturalize all the top American NCAA players who didn't make it too the NBA. My country would destroy everyone.
 
his rebounding was good,his points was ok(u cant expect him to score high on every game),his defence was good,he had 2 blocks,2 steals,but he gets in faul trouble very easy,and too many turnovers,four traveling,1 offensive faul is not good.
 
Valanciunas shows good promise in a lot of things, but he needs to get his TO's and fouls in order. He averaged 8.5 TO's and 8.5 Fouls/48 during Eurobasket. That's nearly 3 TO's more than the nearest player in the NBA, Demarcus Cousins (5.6/48). His fouls would put him incredibly only at #3 in fouls/48 behind Pekovic and Petro. Not bashing, just pointing out.
 
Did not see the game, but wow, Macedonia did it again.. what a surprise story of this championship. Need to find this game to watch somehwere, how did they win, with good defense? or LT just had bad day? They were best scoring team so far in championship with 85pts average and only scored 65 vs Macedonia?

They shot terribly from the perimeter. I only watched the last 5 minutes, but they went into a Turkey like game plan of the guards taking bad,contested 3 pointers instead of going to the basket.
 
Well at least today LT beat Slovenia 80-77 and booked ticket to Olympic qualifying tourney. With healthy Kleiza and 1 more year of experience and hopefuly added strength they should be able to win one of those three berth... somehow teams like Angola, Nigeria, NZ, Venesuela, Dominican R and Puerto Rico or whoever will come from Asia do not look that dangerous...but neither did Macedonia and look what happened. And maybe it will be time to payback Macedonia as they are no way in hell winning against Spain.
JV had 8pts, 6reb,2ast, 1stl, 1blk and 1to and no fouls in 13 min of play.
 
They should do a United States tournament. Every State has a team. That would be fun to watch. You can only play for the state you were born in.
