Extend Ty

Corbin made some improvements tonight. He still has alot to improve on but it is a start. To soon to fire him and to soon to extend him.

He probably had his first full practice yesterday too because of the 1st back-to-back road series. The team definitely was flowing a ton better and play more cohesive basketball. Also

FAVORS IS A BEAST

If Jefferson didn't get hurt. Ty would have started him and we would have lost. And he still starts bell. So the jury is out still.

Yes it is. He did bench Harris early which seems to have worked. He also moved Hayward to the 2. That is improvement.

Extend Ty..... and while we are at it we should extend Earl's contract because he nailed a couple of shots -finally-

What I do know is that the players like Ty, and that is the most important part of being a coach. I don't know it it is respect or friendship, but you don't fire a coach until the team stop listening to him, and the Jazz are far from that. Everything else can be resolved through compromise, and communication.

I watched most of the game on my cell, so I had a limited viewpoint. Can anyone be specific about what he did poorly or well? From what I saw I thought he did quite well. Good rotations, responded to mediocre play, and didn't needlessly pull guys that were doing well. Seemed pretty encouraging to me.

Here a few new specifics.
Hayward played at the 2
Favors stayed in after 2 fouls. He was allowed to play
Favors played some time at the 5
Bell saw his minutes reduced to 18.
Harris was benched early for poor play which seemed to motivate him.
