Possibly because the NBA doesn’t care if you sit guys at home. Also it’s harder to win on the road so if you’re going to roll out a better team, do when it’s harder to win.

Yeah, the Jazz were never going to tank the first game with the new guys on the roster.

This game is essentially the FO throwing a bone to the long-suffering fanbase. A taster for next season.
