What's new

Fire kevin o' connor !!!!

Why would KOC just do something just to do it??
I think KOC enjoys his job security. Just dropping NBA caliber plyers for D-League players wouldn't lofok good on his resume. Even if KOC did do something like this to appease these fans, most of these fans will still call for KOC to be fired because the team loses even more, because they don't know what they want. As for OKC wanting Cj, that was like 3 or 4 years ago when he still had potential, and still rebuilding. That ship sailed a long time ago.

In respect to Min what are we going to get in return for Bell that we will like any better that won't take time from Burks?

Force Ty into playing the future. We all know that Bell, Miles, Harris, Big Al...are not the future. So force Ty to stop stalling the future and embrace it. This is really not that difficult of a concept.

There is not one intelligent person on the planet who thought this team had any chance at a serious playoff run. This season was only to placate to the ding dong fans that don't know squat about basketball. So what was the point of this season. It surely wasn't to get experience for our future. We played a bunch of guys who won't be here in a year and a half. It's idiotic to think that our guys are going to get better on the bench. And with all that we ruined our chance to get another big piece to grow with our young guys.

That's why I say fire KOC. This season was a waste and is going to set us back.

I completely agree with the bolded part.

It's nice having BluesRocker on ignore, as I'm sure he is saying stuff just t aggravate me. Blues do all the talking you want.

John Hollinger: Hornets were in talks to send Jack, Ariza, and Kaman to Boston for Rondo, O'Neal, and filler.

If KOC hasn't been on the phone offering Jefferson/Millsap + Harris for Rondo he should be **** canned ASAP. If they want CJ Miles too (to replace Ariza in the deal) we'd be happy to do that. They can send us Rondo + O'Neal + filler. If Boston was thinking about that deal they would take our deal in a heartbeat.

And as soon as we realistically can't make the playoffs that much will be done, like last year when Favors, Hayward started getting more minutes.

This is where I disagree. They should have given The Four the minutes all along and have them take us to the playoffs. I can see them clicking with what little time they do get so why not cut them lose?

KOC and his idiotic followers are the only people on the planet who think its a good idea to wallow in mediocrity. Every smart basketball mind will tell you that its good to be crappy if you aren't really good. That way you can get good draft picks. Being in the middle is the worst place you can be. Cuz you'll be stuck there forever.

Its not a good idea to wallow in mediocrity, it is also not a good idea to wallow in crappines, generally it takes more than being crappy for a few years and getting some low draft picks to become a contender. Your posts are truly moronic. Leave your moms basement and come see the light, its a beautiful day.

I can only hope KOC makes you eat your words tonight. Considering that no superstars would want to come to Utah, KOC has done what he can. He picked up Burks, and grew the balls to trade D-will for some great pieces. Unfortunately, Ty doesn't know how to use those pieces properly. GM could be doing a better job trying to find a decent coach instead of immediately signing Ty.

If Miles and Bell have no trade value, they shouldn't be good enough for our playoff push.

KOC and Ty failed giving these guys minutes.

What do you not get about the fact that if you are crappy for a few years then you are picking in the top of the draft class? And right now it would be ok to be crappy because our guys are young. We dont want to be trying to get top picks in a couple years. Now is the perfect time.

2nd of all, it should be pretty clear that we aren't attracting high end free agents here. So we should be trying to obtain them through the draft.

How nice would it be to add 3 more top 6 or 7 picks over the next threes years to our already young core?
