IF the Lakers pitch to get Walker are that good maybe you make the trade, pick up Maluach if the jazz think he has potential at 5, and reset the board with those assets.

If I trade Kessler, I’d still draft one of Tre, Ace or VJ. . . let Filipowski start for this year and maybe look at addressing C next year based on how it goes.

I find your lack of faith.... disturbing.

I don't really see it as too much of a diss. Most young PG's start very, very bad. Some of them stay that way, but some go on to be all stars and also plenty outcomes in between. The PG's who start with a lot of responsibility and hit the ground running are the exceptions. I don't think he's a Ja, Trae, Rose, Wall level of prospect. So yes, I'm lacking that kind of faith in him, but I don't see a Scoot comparison as an insult.

I mentioned Scoot in particular because he shares a lot of the same strengths and weaknesses. In his rookie year, shoot only shot 50% at the rim with a .246 FTr. Sophomore year those numbers increased to 59% and .301. He also improved his turnovers and outside shooting a bit. Scoot's story is still yet to be written, but he had a fairly typical start for a non-elite PG and a massive improvement in his second year. When his shot was falling, he looked like a potential star.

This board is very high on Flemming. Don't think he's ever been top 25 on Givony's mocks.

To be fair, I haven't dived in on Fleming too much. From a minor look, he seems to be the ideal 3&D big wing, incredible physical talents, shoots the 3, dunks constantly, great defensive disruptor. There must be something more fundamentally wrong with his game.
