Have taken 4 legit IQ tests in my life. 1 I initiated on my own in Jr. High just because I was interested, then 3 to get into and then associated with Mensa. Weighted average across all 4 was 142. High was 150, low 131. But IQ tests are tricky. There are definite cultural and racial, gender, etc. biases built into most of them. And an IQ test for a blind person has to be made differently, in fact radically differently, than for a sighted person. Hearing usually has little impact, but the visual differences are kind of amazing. More modern IQ tests are being developed so they are almost reading comprehension tests to weed out other little problems, such as color blindness. One test I took had a series of patterns, which when combined with numbers, were used to place patterns on different sides of a 3 dimensional object. The problem was they used shades of red and green for the patterns, so my friend taking the same test, who is strongly red-green color blind, saw different patterns than the rest of us. It was very interesting, and is one thing that shows that realistically IQ testing is haphazard and far from definitive of anything meaningful. But it was fun.
Are you being serious? An average of 142 is insane. Please understand why I would hesitate to believe anyone who says that on an internet message board, but that's really, really high. Kudos
