Following potential 2012 draftees

Talk about Combine interviews:

Sam Amick
Comedy from the Combine: the Harrison Barnes from North Carolina on the strangest question he was asked in team interviews: "Someone said, 'If the players on the coaching staff all go out at 2:30, will you come out with us?' I was like, 'oh.'...I said, 'Well, I might have to pass on that.' And they said, 'Well, but what if we're in Miami?' And I said, 'No, I'd have to pass.'"

Chris Haynes: The most common questions draft prospects are being asked are, "Do you smoke weed and do you drink?"

Chris Haynes: The #Blazers have their team psychologist here at the NBA combine. She interviewed 8 players yesterday & is scheduled to interview 5 today.

Gery Woelfel: Somewhat surprising that Bucks didn't interview Royce White and don't intend to work him out.'

KC Johnson: Harrison Barnes, projected to be a lottery pick, said he met with #Bulls at predraft camp yesterday.

MKG didn't skip out on athletic testing. He just showed up late because he was too busy snorting coke off of prostitutes with UK boosters.

Real reason was because he got the times confused on when he was going to be tested. He tested with the PF's instead of the SF's because he didn't show up early enough.

Agents control these things. I'd ask him, but I already know the answer.

I'm just foolin around. It is a smart move. He is considered the best athlete in the draft and projected top 5 athletic testing could only hurt his position.

Except that Cyrone pointed out MKG did test with the pfs. My bad for missing that.

There go the intangibles .. that didn't last long.

He did test athletically.

The only players who didn't were Davis and Waiters. (And maybe White, I didn't really see him at all and no one mentioned him, either about being there or not being there).

Bobcats are supposedly shopping the 2nd pick. Not sure if there's anyone projected at #2 that suits us very well, but who knows...it's fun to think about.

Aren't the Raptors and Warriors also rumored to be open to trading their picks? Seems like there are ways into the lottery, if there's someone KOC really likes.

Spycam, you have been missed the last few days. It also sounds like you have missed a lot yourself.

It just costs so much to get into the top picks this time of year. I bet #2 would cost Kanter or Burks, the GS pick and Al or Millsap.

This is a great point. At this time of year potential trump actual production, with the exception of superstars.

Jae Crowder's standing reach was 102.75 in NJ, but only 99 in Chicago. Grew an inch and 1/4 in height, but lost almost 4 inches in reach.

What the ****?

This just makes me think all the measurements are even more useless when they aren't even accurate and players are possibly obscuring their standing reach in favor of having higher perceived max verticals.

Chris Haynes: Kentucky standout Michael Kidd-Gilchrist says he has a workout scheduled w/ #Blazers next week. He's likely a top 3 pick. Someone moving up?

Or is he planning a basement of 6?
