Because the talent difference between 21 and 31 is barely noticeable. Cleveland wouldn't do it because they would have another guaranteed contract. Unless their guy is not going to make it to their 31 pick I think they would consider it. Again I see more reasons why Cleveland wouldn't do it.

How about $9mm TPE, #14 & 21 this year for Perkins and that TOR top two protected next year? OKC could swap that for their missing piece, and Perkins could start over Kanter for the tank job. Throw in $3mm for their cheap *** owners to bite. #1 & #3 picks next summer.

Sounds ok but if Toronto gets the 14 pick then it would suck. I really don't know why the Jazz would have to give up both picks if they are taking on the bad contract. OKC should cough up a draft pick for either Toronto or the Jazz if they are giving two away.
 
Did seeing Rudy Gobert measure out to 7'2" in shoes affect anyones descion on his draft stock? hes my favorite C and project that no ones talking about, the greek giant has gotten muuuch muuch more press in this thread.
