Spurs will have picked him long before the Jazz's 2nd round pick.
I know, but I can dream.

What does he do great? If his shooting is off.. what does he bring the team (and please don't say energy or hustle).

in the case of franklin, i like him at 21 and hate em at 14, i have him somewhere in the upper teens, so hes good value for us at 21, in my book.
when im looking at a player outside of the lottery i always ask myself, what would this player need to do to be a surefire lotto pick, with franklin thats obvious, shoot high %'s
to directly answer your question, right away he brings us an able body, whos focused and can be trusted to give 110% effort in whatever task he is assigned.
now he has bust potential or hed be in the lottery but i say his best case is a nice one if the jumpshot improves.
i particularly like this kids awareness/anticipation his shot isnt the prettiest but its a quick release, what makes me want to draft him, and reminds me of Iman Shumpert is his first step, i like this player as a project at 21
Jamaal Franklin once knocked his tooth out on the rim dunking the ball...
I'm amazed you remember that. Basically, I bought into Nedovic strictly because Givony was/is so high on him, his efficiency be damned. I've learned in the meantime that even though Givony is the best draft analyst that I know of, everyone can be wrong and everyone has their pet likes and dislikes. I've cooled quite a bit on him, but wouldn't be upset if the Jazz drafted him. But I am more interested in James Ennis, Erik Murphy, Alex Abrines, maybe even BONGO. I'm sure someone that I like more will slip as well.
I can't help but think that if we don't get CJ we are going to regret not trading up for this guy.

He doesn't pass the eye test for being "quick", "fast", and "nimble" enough to play the PG for me... sorry...
Steph Curry was quick and nimble.
Curious, just as a hypothetical question for everyone: what do you realistically think it would take to move up in this year's draft at each position:
1) Cavs (Favors or Kanter)
2) Magic (Favors)
3) Wizards (Favors or Kanter)
4) Charlotte (Favors, Kanter, or Hayward + #14)
5) Suns (Hayward + #14)
6) New Orleans (Burks or Hayward + #14)
7) Kings (who knows?)
8) Pistons (Hayward or Burks)
9) Timberwolves (Burks)
10) Blazers (#14 + #21)
11) 76ers (#14 + #21)
12) Thunder (don't think they'd play ball with us)
13) Mavs (future first or salary dump + 2nd round pick)
