Following potential 2013 draftees

Regarding Giannis: picture AK47 with a better jump shot, a better handle and better finishing ability at the rim. His length and versatility make him stand apart from shooters like Bullock or Karasev. He should be gone by #18, which means I don't think he's really a reach at #14. Both Boston and Atlanta like him. I'm actually a bit worried about Dallas.

I hope we can get a deal to move up for McCollum, but I'm okay with a Giannis/Wolters draft if we stay put.

No worries bro, we forgive you.

Thank you Obi-Wan

I don't think MCW has the nuances to be a great PG right now. Maybe he'll pick them up, but in the meantime he seems more like a combo or part of a 2-guard front.......which then makes me start to think he might be a bit redundant with Burks.

I'm not sure I follow. His passing and court vision are the best of any prospect in this draft, and he has excellent defense on the perimeter. He had the most assists per game out of all the DX100 prospects. I'm not sure I understand what nuances you are talking about. His shooting (which is reportedly better)? That wouldn't make him more eligible to be a combo guard. I think he'll be a PG (and a damn good one eventually), or he'll be nothing.

Wow, Schroeder with a big fall all the way down to 24 at DX.

that's what only having 1 good workout can do for you. If a prospect has a ****ty workout in the midst of brilliant ones, no one bats an eye, but when there is really only one good one, and you're a prospect with limited tape, people are going to question whether or not it's really there, or if you're ready.

This is good news for us. If we are still staying pat with our picks (#14 & #21), it would be amazing to snatch him @ #21, if we could deduce that it was more reality than fiction.

The new DX mock also has us taking Karasev at #21 which would be sweet and more realistic than Schroeder falling.

Getting him at #21 would be ideal. However, maybe I'm going the way of DX and I've soured a bit on Schroeder. I wouldn't mind getting him at 21, but the lack of stellar workouts has me wanting more and more for us to move up and get McCollum.
