I wonder if Gianni's will be there at 21.
I don't think he speaks any English.. seems to understand it well though..
... is that gonna be a problem?

If drafted by Utah, all he needs to understand is "there's the end of the bench, rookie."I don't think he speaks any English.. seems to understand it well though..

Let me say that one of the biggest downsides to Schroeder is that we know very little about WHO he is. One of the things I just love about Burke is who he is. What if Schroeder is just a mega-talent but is a bit of an AK upstairs?

I'm feeling much better about this draft.
Hahaha... yeah me too man!!! Yeah me too!!!!
This is one of the better days on this draft thread!!

Keep in mind, we are looking at a 14th or a 21st pick here.
What you say certainly has credibility, but I think it is a tad unfair to compare him to Burke. Burke probably is one of the most well-rounded prospects (mentally) in a very long time. Clutch, pass-first, VERY high IQ, and just a great kid in general.
Essentially, I share the same worry, but it CERTAINLY would be something that would drive me bonkers, if I hear that the Jazz passed on him because his mood was 'suspect'. With Schröder, we have a chance to really snag one of the best talents of the drafts at a higher spot, specifically because of these 'unknowns'.

Agreed. I'm just riffing all the way around.
The interviewer was summarizing his comments a bit plainly. I speak German, and the dude REALLY came across as super committed to improvement. He confidently stated that he believed they would win on saturday. Didn't sound cocky, just confident, and had the demeanour of a hard-working athlete. Very non-AK like, but I could be grasping at straws here.
Werd.Yup. I am also borderline-panicking at the thought of falling in love with another point guard again.
Watching Burke shoot up the draft board was excruciating-- the last thing I want is to go through the exact same experience all over again. Lol.

He's also fairly articulate. Not some bozon-athlete with poor grammar, a la half of the NBA.
