Following potential 2014 draftees

When you cherry pick ridiculously small sample sizes (like 4 games) the analysis is meaningless. Korver made 9-31 threes in December 2013 over 6 games, an ugly 29%. terrible shooter, no?

A more meaningful sample might be his last 17 games, when, after getting over college adjustments and taking a higher frequency of 3s, he hit 56%. A 17 game fluke? I'd love to have a bigger sample size, sure. But an athletic and long big who rebounds and can also knock down a 3?

Regarding leading a team to tournament, Karl Malone in his freshman year did not lead La Tech to the NIT, NCAA or even the "mighty" Southland conference championship, playing against a far inferior class of teams (Texas Tech, Rice, McNeese, UL-Monroe).

Hahaha. Great post. Whitechocolate just got owned, and eagerly waiting his response.

Thee jazz fan later on;

I hate when people use numbers to prove a point, and try to act as an expert even though you haven't watched a single game, because if you knew anything about The team Vonleh played for you would realize how foolish your argument was.

Contradicting yourself, no?

WC, I sincerely can't remember anyone here saying NV is a "great scorer and shooter". You're, again, arguing against yourself.

Are we voting for college player of the year or are we talking about how a player translates to THE UTAH JAZZ(for emphasis, since, in this scenario, he'd be playing for them). Because, and this is my opinion, we could really use a 4 that can stretch the floor to work well with Favors and create better floor spacing overall.

Now, take every player out of the equation we can potentially draft and please reply with whether you agree with that or not. As a personal favor, please refrain from typing any reference to Gordon or Vonleh. Thank you.

Once again, one person. Small sample size as you guys would love to say.

So I'm taking that as a no?

The problem I have with you, is you are trying to say that Vonleh won't be a good player. Which makes your creditability go down. You don't know how he will turn out. You might want to know, but you don't.

What does Indiana not making the tourney proves. I dare you!!

He's not a winner. Did he even win a state championship in high school? Serious don't know, I would bet he didn't. Look at recent Jazz men the Jazz drafted, Gordon Hayward almost won the NCAA championship, Alec Burks almost won the NIT, Trey Burke almost won the NCAA championship.

Of course I watched him, when you hear about a player you want to watch him play.

Single handedly? That's impressive.

His team beat Wisconsin... Howd Arizona do vs them?

Also at the beginning what I meant to say is I hate when people just use numbers alone with out truly knowing anything about the numbers they are looking at, because without watching for yourself and giving numbers without the knowledge how he got those numbers, it's just an empty argument that is misleading.

You watched DL in college? Where are you from? I'm from Utah and only roughly 5-6 games were on TV. Do you have one of those huge Satelite dishes in your backyard? What games, specifically, did you watch of his?
