Following potential 2014 draftees

The more I think about it, I don't think that Milwaukee passes on Wiggins at #2, unless the Sixers throw the whole world at them to move from #3 to #2. If it's Embiid-Wiggins at the top, perhaps Philly could be a viable trade partner after all. I could see them being comfortable passing on Jabari for Vonleh at #5 + a nice package from the Jazz.

Most of you will have no idea who Kenny 'Sky' Walker is (top 5 all time Kentucky player) but he gave a great quote yesterday.

He lives around the UK bb program.. every practice, every game, guest spots on tv and radio.. NOT known for hyperbole.

Yesterday after a practice he said Julius Randle is the most talented player Kentucky has had since Shawn Kemp.

Aside from the jokes some of you are conjuring right now... that's some mighty high praise.

I'd be comfortable passing on Parker to get Vonleh. Parker will likely be ROY. But he's simply not a transcedent player that warrants the Jazz giving up the #5 and a "nice package" to get. I might be wrong, but I like Gordon and Vonleh a lot and am just not impressed by Jabari's HUGE liability on defense.

The Cavs, Bucks, Sixers all need franchise players.
They can all get one with their picks.
It would be ridiculous to trade those picks.
They have all been at the bottom of the pile for years.
Embiid, Wiggins, Parker will sell tickets and help fill seats.

Lol. PKM dont mean to call you out, its the sources. Thru about 350 pages of the draft thread, I'm pretty well convinced the "Chop my balls off" comment will not be out-done.

the Kenny Walker quote, i had to bump though.

Anthony Davis, Durant, Chris Paul and Tim Duncan were the most talented players I ever saw in college. (in no particular order)

but ya look dumb.

Coming from the guy championing Saric at 5 based on a playoff series.

Cibona and Saric just got swept 3-0 by Cedevita in the championship round of the Croatian league. he shot 3-14 from 3 in the series and had more turnovers than assists.

Going to be interesting to see how Randle actually does in the league. Would everyone be shocked if the Jazz snagged him?

I would only be shocked because I haven't heard anything about him working out. He hasn't come and worked out for the Jazz. Maybe he is ok with getting drafted later and going to the Lakers or Celtics.
