Following potential 2014 draftees

But consider Randle played whole season with a bad foot and look what he did.
This may explain why he could not go right, had no explosiveness, no quickness.
Look what he did even when double teamed etc.
If he heals up and checks out OK how good could he be?
If doctors guarantee him a 100% recovery does that put him into consideration?
Is he worth taking at #5 knowing what we know now?
Does that tell you what kind of Karl Malone warrior game he has?

doesn't really matter. obviously it didn't bother him much.

my concern is foot injury in itself. this could be absolutely nothing or it could be a ticking time bomb. we don't need a future karl malone that never was.

at #23? that's fine. let's gamble. but at #5? hell naw.

Lillard dominated college guys in an actual league. Exum was decent in a tournament against HS players. Apples and oranges.

My point is, if he's good he's good no matter how good or bad the competition is. Not saying he's good, I have no clue, but the things I've read and the highlights I've seen I'd compare him to Burks.

I got a feeling today that the jazz are going to trade back and draft McDermott. Sacramento seems the best choice since they need a pg and exum would be a good fit. not sure what we will get back.

The history of trading back has never been kind to teams. Pretty sure DL isn't that stupid.

The argument for Exum at #5 is simple: he'll be the only guy on the board with the POTENTIAL to become a number one option on offense. Nobody is arguing that he's a lock; definitely a high-risk, high-reward type of pick.
