Following potential 2014 draftees

I need to see a workout with Gordon and Vonleh going against each other.

I also need to see a workout with Exum and Smart going against each other.

Vonleh's still pretty raw offensively... you can't really just use that comparison. It's taken Aldridge how long to hit his strides???

Same with Exum...

Chad Ford said he could go as high as #7.

Not that big of a fan of his. Can't shoot the ball.

Shot 36% from three and lead the NCAA in turnovers with 127 in 35 games.

That's around 3.6 per game.

If he was there and we took Gordon at #5, we essentially just took two guys who can't shoot.

Damn, 7, really? I listened to a DX podcast and he said he wouldn't be surprised if he goes late lottery. Sounded like it was a given he is going to move up big though.

There are several shooters that will go in the teens----McDermott, Harris, Stauskas, Young, and Saric. I think they're all gone by 18 though.

CJ Wilcox can shoot and he should be there at #23

from NBADraft.net

Father, Craig Wilcox, played at BYU … Was under recruited coming out of Utah, blossomed into a high level college scorer who has been on the NBA radar heavily for the past two years … Easily amongst top pure shooters in draft, he also measured out quite well athletically which is a good sign for adaptation to NBA speed … Highly coachable and respected by his peers … Has a draft range of anywhere from late first round to early second, will be great option for teams in need of a rotation shooter who can provide spot minutes immediately ...

no way in fuuuu Payton goes 7.. or top 10 for that matter. I'd be shocked with anything higher than 14/15.

"While he's currently projected by ESPN.com as a mid-first-round pick, I believe he gets a close look in the lottery from the Lakers, Kings, Hornets and Magic. After seeing both Payton and Tyler Ennis live, I like both, but I think Payton has more long-term potential because of his quickness and defensive abilities. The Kings especially seem like a good fit -- especially if Smart is off the board. Payton provides size, defense, a pure point guard mentality, high character -- all the things they are looking for in a point."

Might just be a guess, but I wasn't lying.

Also from Chad Ford:

"Payton surprised people by refusing to participate in the drills. Given his limited exposure, some GMs were grumbling about the decision. But they shouldn't. As his stock continues to rise, sources say some teams in the mid-first round were pushing for him not to do the drills. They'd prefer he remain a secret. His measurements and athletic testing numbers were both above average for his position. He also drew raves in his interviews. I believe Payton is the true sleeper in this draft and is being underrated by scouts. Once he gets into workouts, he will work his way into the lottery."

That insanely makes no sense.
