Following potential 2015 draftees

You could have very easily said the same thing about the 2013 draft. But perhaps you would rather "balance out the roster" via free agency than add player like the one the Jazz got in the late first round in 2013. Again, you might choose that, I doubt the Jazz would.

Jazz still had a high need to acquire talent in 2013. Not so much now. Keep trying to make good points.

So you want me to find a player who has the exact same measurements of Johnson?

Do you understand how ****ing dumb of an exercise this is and how dumb your point is?

No, find a guy as short and as heavy - could be shorter or heavier - who has been successful in the NBA. The point is, it is really hard to be a good NBA player when you are that short and that heavy - it's just a fact. It is a fact that guys with those measurements are incredibly rare success stories in the NBA.

What?

This point makes no sense in regard to Johnson. His defense is a plus attribute.

I agree he lacks elite height and reach you want out of a SF, but he still had a solid SF size with an excellent wingspan.

Hey, it's clear you feel the Jazz don't need to acquire talent like Hood or Gobert at this point. Seems a little strange that you wouldn't want to add players of that caliber, but to each his own. It's okay.

His defense is a plus attribute? Really? How do you know that? Have you seen him defend NBA SFs or PFs?

The only negative that extra weight would entail is not being able to guard on the perimeter and move laterally. The thing we know Johnson is actually good at is defense. His weight is not a negative at all. You are living on an island of delusion.

Johnson is Ron Artest... Ron was thick just like Stanley, but not a lot of fat. Don't think Stanley has as much of a reach as Artest did though.

Johnson is already a man... He moves well with his weight and it is muscle. I think he is going to be most successful as a small ball four and that weight combined with a lower center of gravity than the guys that post him up will make him tough to move.

You're being a pain man. Based off all that we've seen Stanley is a darn good defender and his weight hasn't caused problems so far. He mostly played the 2 in college and kept up with everyone at that level. I think his length is fine for SF's as well though I don't really project him as being able to handle PF's in the league (maybe a couple like Draymond/Millsap).

The second round is going to be interesting. Guys like Harrison, Upshaw, Wood, Tokoto, Johnson, Powell, etc. etc. etc. have the chance to make rosters and get some minutes.

It would be cool to somehow trade Burke and get Harrison in the 2nd round as he's better built for the NBA. I think a few 50-60 picks will stick in the NBA. Upshaw is also interesting - he can play defense and score inside.

Yes. This is what I'm saying exactly. Island of delusion must be a fun place.
