I think I prefer going 19-10 post all-star break(and seeing what this core can be) and getting pick no. 12 than going 10-19 and getting pick no 7.

IMO, the Heat will probably still draft, maybe the trade is a smokescreen to attract offers. The Heat would probably take Johnson or Booker. They like both.

They do want to offer big deals to Dragic and possibly Monta Ellis. They have Bosh coming back and probably want to win now. Their pg situation is thin though Napier coming off a hernia.

I'm sure 90% of all draft day trades are ones that have been discussed prior to the day of the draft, so I'm not sure how doing a trade like that isn't possible.
