I'm in love with Donovan Mitchell from his interview. What a classy, smart kid. I'd be happy to cheer for him on my team... hell even if he goes elsewhere he seems like a likeable guy who's easy to root for.
I'm starting to cool on this draft overall. I'm not seeing a clear difference-making starter outside the top 10 - 12 picks. We're looking at a role player in the 20s.
- Markelle Fultz
- Josh Jackson
- Jayson Tatum
- DeAaron Fox
- Lonzo Ball
- Dennis Smith Jr.
- Malik Monk
- Jonathan Issac
- Lauri Markkanen
- Frank Ntilikina
- Zach Collins
- Donovan Mitchell
Outside of this, Jonathan Jeanne has upside, OG has some upside, Bam has some upside, and Kurucs might have a bit of upside. Giles might have upside. I don't expect any of those guys to fall to 24.
Also, they could certainly push it until the trade deadline of the 3rd year, but then you risk having to give up picks because teams know you are desperate.
I disagree... even if we come away with a Rodney Hood level player who can contribute soon it is a huge win for us. Plenty of guys that can become decent starters and a few that will certainly do more.
Lmao what did you expect? If you can get a role player in the 20s you are lucky.I'm starting to cool on this draft overall. I'm not seeing a clear difference-making starter outside the top 10 - 12 picks. We're looking at a role player in the 20s.
