Would you guys do this deal? I'm pretty sure Detroit would. Not sure about Phoenix. I'm okay with it, I guess.

DET out: Drummond + #12
DET in: Favors + Diaw (non-guaranteed)
Rationale -- Detroit gets out of Drummond's contract, gets Favors to start, and saves $7M in cap space by not picking up Diaw's option.

Utah out: Favors + Diaw
Utah in: Bledsoe, Player X, #12
Rationale -- Utah gets a quality PG for $14M and gets a #12 pick (Mitchell/Collins) for Favors before they lose him in free agency.

PHX out: Bledsoe, Player X
PHX in: Drummond
Rationale -- Moves Bledsoe to start Fox or Smith Jr., gets Drummond to replace Len (whom I think they'll let walk)

Detroit isn't going to trade Drummond + 12 for Favors and we aren't going to get Bledsoe + 12 for Favors.

I'd be all for it of course but Detroit isn't doing that deal but Phoenix might.

We'd be better off exploring a Favors for Bledsoe deal by itself.

Detroit is madly trying to unload Drummond and is likely willing to attach the #12 to do it.

The only question here is whether Phoenix wants Drummond. Utah doesn't.

If Utah sent back #24, I'm certain that would clinch it for Detroit.

I didn't know it was that bad of a situation.
