What does a team that plays slow and in the halfcourt need most offensively? Efficient half-court players. Lauri Markkanen lead the entire NCAA in half-court scoring efficiency with 1.25 ppp. Food for thought.

OG can guard 3s and 4s. If he's dropping, it's because of the injury and how it affects his timetable. You'd be drafting a player who likely can't play this summer and won't be ready in the fall.

He's still learning to shoot, but he's got some really nice tools to work with...

An ACL injury isnt causing him to drop, it's the fact that he is only theoretically a good player.

Exactly. The problem with OG is that he's quite possibly the worst offensive player in the draft. He's a 3 and D prospect who was never really a good shooter. He shot 45% last year on an extremely small sample(29 attempts total for the season, under 1 attempt per game) while shooting 45% from FT. That's DeAndre Jordan and Andre Drummond level bad. This year he's at 31% from 3 on 2.9 attempts per game and 56% from FT. He does NOT project to be even an average shooter in the league.

Right now he projects as a less-skilled version(if that's possible) of MKG...

I really don't think the Lakers will trade back after the league gave them the #2 pick. The movement in the draft will happen once the top 3-4 picks are off the board.

I don't think the Lakers are taking ball. It's all a screen, moving back a spot or two with a trade is their best case scenario plan imho - that's what I'd do.

They'll take Jackson or Fox, or maybe they take the trade and then take ball.

Bam being available at 24 isnt falling, it's him being available at 24. He is probably available at 30 too.

I'm not high on Bam, but he will not be available past 22.

Took a quick look at OG, really he can't dribble or shoot. His explosiveness is his forte and if he tore his knee then that spells drop. If he was available at 24 I wouldn't be too surprised and I'd be happy to take him if he's coachable.

I'm looking forward to this draft so much, so many potential stars. It's likely the top class since... when???
