Following Potential 2018 Draftees

And my grandpa walked 5 miles in the snow to school every day or some ****. No one cares about old people's exaggerations.

Well, your "grandpa" was a douchebag and that's no exaggeration.

If you are one of those people who don't believe Wilt was a college track athlete, long jumper, high jumper along with the most dominant single force in NBA history, you shouldn't be an NBA fan. Those stats are documented. They aren't just hearsay like his silly statement about sleeping with 20,000 women.

As a rookie, Wilt was the Rookie of the Year and MVP of the league scoring 37.6ppg and 27rpg. But I guess you are one of the ignorants who say it was against 6'6" white guys.

Depends in part on what kind of shot, but assuming it's off the dribble and unassisted.

Speaking of KBD, what's up with his free throw release? On a lot of his jumpers, he has a pretty fluid follow through and traditional "gooseneck" finish, but his free throws are super weird push shots or something.

Compare the jumpers in the highlight against Gonzaga a couple posts up to these free throws.

Fingers curled weirdly on the follow through and kind of a push shot

Same thing

Again

Almost no legs in his FT stroke in these examples. He can fix that.

I like Huerter well enough and would be fine with him at #21, but I don't think he's the level of shooter people are discussing, don't think he's in the same league as Klay/Korver type guys.

We are just going to ignore this, huh?

I'm not ignoring it. Huerter shot almost 42% on 3s at 5.5 attempts per game. He's got a great stroke and quick release out to 28 feet. He's not considered a great athlete by NBA standards, but he moves well, has good IQ and can do more than spot up. His offensive game isn't as versatile and multi-faceted as some other prospects in our range, and his defensive potential is passable at best due to his limited length, strength and quickness.

At the end of the day, maybe he's a bit of a specialist, but his specialty is knocking down 3s off the catch and off the bounce. It's a wanted skill. Apparently, he blew scouts away with his shooting at the Combine. He should do the other things well enough to stay on the floor.

Handlogten's Heros rev up that hype train lol

I'm really confused as to why Jalen Brunson being your roommate alleviates any charter concerns (not that I have character concerns over tweets he made when he was 15).

Bigger concern: Are there women in Utah who will eat his ***? Are Mormon women into that freaky stuff?

Simons but I haven't seen much of Robinson. Walker and Musa are easier picks from their respective groups IMO.

I guess Brunson is such a high character guy that he wouldn't have chosen Donte as a roommate if he had reservations about him? That's how I took it, but I dunno. I don't think any teams give a **** about the tweets anyway.

I mean, this definitely isnt a push shot, it's just a long 2-motion release. A bigger (deeper) knee bend might help create a more fluid release where his release times up at the peak of his upward momentum.

He's an 80% ft shooter though, so I probably wouldnt **** with it too much.

But will any women in Utah lick his backside?

And IDK, I just picked who I lived with in college based on if they kept the kitchen clean and werent completely worthless at cleaning up after themselves.
