Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Anfernee Simons to Portland would be interesting, getting to learn from Dame and McCollum might be one of his best landing spots for growth tbh...

Lakers gotta take a hard look at him too... seemingly great pair with Lonzo...

Comparing Josh Okogie to Miles Bridges, Okogie had more blocks, more steals, more FT attempts, a better 3-pt %, and otherwise comparable shooting numbers playing as a guard on a much crappier team at Ga. Tech.

He gives up 2 inches and 10 lbs to Bridges, but has 3.5" more wingspan and he's a markedly quicker in the open floor. I think you can play Okogie at the 3 and do just as well. If instead of asking Okogie to carve up defenses with his dribble you let him slash from the wing, I think he'll be an effective player.
I think the matter here is a positional one, and I think that 2 inches and 10 pounds is enough to make one a believable 4 and the other not so much.

Every team could use a 3+D wing, but no team needs one less than the Jazz.

A 3&D 4, however.

Just reading around various message boards I see this comment about Doncic that I find hilarious.

it's basically along the lines of;

Teams who pass on doncic better have good playmaking, because a playmaker of this ilk isn't gonna be available again anytime soon....

and I kinda think thats silly, and dont get me wrong he's fantastic and the 2 names (going into Jr year HS) i'm about to say might be worse playmakers , but still are fantastic in their own right, and quite bluntly could end up better prospects overall;

6'4" PG R.J. Hampton and 6'8" point forward, Scottie Barnes, who's got a 7'2" wingspan and guards 4 positions.....

I think Mo Bamba is going to Dallas. He is blocking Memphis at #4 so he can go #5 to Dallas. The Mavs have wanted a big time center for a long time.

So who drops to 6 - Jackson, Doncic or Porter?

KBD has some of the best measurables for a stretch 4 BTW, better than Miles Bridges. Think he could step in and start on opening night.
