Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Here's a full-game tape of Va. Tech vs. Stanford with Neo Avadalas. A few points on Neo:
** He's big at 6'9"--same height as Ace Bailey.
** Athletic for his size, but not explosive.
** Adequate defender who uses his size pretty well on defense. Nothing special as a defender, but will make a play on the ball if it's right in front of him.
** Visonary passer who knows where his guys are on the floor and can deliver on most passing angles due to his height and reach. Feeds the post well.
** He'd average more assists, but his teammates are iffy shooters for the most part.
** Adequate shooter from deep when he's in rhythm. Comfortable shooter from mid-range.
** Likes to post up and score over the top of smaller guards.
** Doesn't actively rebound unless he happens to be right there. He often lets someone else rebound and give him the ball to bring it up.
** He'll play as a point-forward in the NBA and can play on or off the ball.

Not a point forward. He's a forward with playmaking ability.

We should trade our 6th pick for two mid rounders and draft Avdalas and Wagler. What’s better than one Joe Ingles? Two.

Alex Jensen choked not calling a time out smh
If you are talking about the play right at the very end when the player went down on the court, the announcers were saying the utes were out of timeouts.
I have no idea if the announcers were correct but that is what they said

Quote from BYU head coach Kevin Young about Richie Saunders after last night's game: "Richie’s will to win is like nothing I have ever been around."

Dude is all effort and motor. Has amazing intangibles. Culture setter. Locker room glue guy. All that crap that doesn't show up in the box score plus a decent amount of stuff that does.
I would love the jazz to draft him.

Btw, congrats to the utes. What a great game by them. I believe BYU was favored 17.5 and only won by 3.
This is what AJ said after the game: "Boy, that was crazy. That was super hostile"
Dybantsa said. "That's probably like, besides my high school days, that rivalry, that's probably like the most hostile environment I've been in. It was really like a welcome to the Big 12 moment.
"
Respect

If they were out of timeouts, how did they challenge the play? Maybe the college rules are different where you dont have to have timeouts to challenge, but in the NBA I think it's that way.

Those announcers were kind of stupid cuz BYU had a goaltend that got reviewed and they were so sure it was a block, but the replay clearly showed it hitting glass before, but they kept saying clear block.

His rebounds won them the game, but boy was he getting cooked on defense. Until they went to zone they were getting cooked by those shifty guards.

I like Kingston Fleming. I’m trying to think of another 6’4” point guard who playmakes, shoots, and defends like him and I’m having a hard time coming up with one. Jrue Holiday?
