Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Drafting 5 or 6 may be pretty likely if we can continue to lean into the tank. NOP are about the only team I think has a 50/50 shot or better of passing us. Partly because we can control that a bit ourselves.

I wonder if those guys popping helps us potentially trade up to 4 maybe if a pg starved team is willing to do something. Either way those guys showing out should help... either draft them or trade up or down the board if their stock continues to rise.

Eh...getting up to the #5 lotto position gives us a 19.6% chance and I suppose that's somewhat realistic. But to draft #5 you've really got to be a top 3 lotto position team.

At lotto position 6 or lower, it's more likely to draft at any of the top 4 positions individually than 5 or 6 combined.

It would be a 22% chance but yeah...

I think 5-7 will have a ton of value if guys like Wagler/Brown can continue to show out. Should be able to leverage that somehow if they are overly concerned on the fit with Key.

BYU vs #1 Arizona tonight

Thanks for sharing, going to post it on Twitter.

Here's a better image that is not just a screenshot. You may only use this image if you generate an outrage campaign against one of our tank competitors.

@KqWIN why do you call it noisy?

RAPM is just noisy in smaller sample sizes. I wouldn't use it as a ranking of the best players, but it's still the best way to approximate "how good has a team performed with X player on the court when adjusting for the other 9 players on the court". For example, some may think that Cam Boozer is a defensive liability...and while that may have some merit, you do have to reconcile that with the fact that Duke plays extremely good defense with him on the court.

Idk I see advanced metrics that match what I think and see so they must be pretty good.
