exactly. and that's all it comes down to, really. foye will help us, but not by playing the point. let's appreciate a guy for what he is, and not assume that he's going to be our goran dragic when history shows he has never succeeded at running an offense that would crack a top-20 efficiency ranking.
I don't think anybody's expecting Foye at PG to be a great solution going forward. For my part when I say I hope Foye will be playing PG, I'm simply saying I think he'll contribute more to the team if he's taking minutes from Watson than if he's taking them from Burks. I believe Foye can defend PGs and I believe that with our non-point-guard-centric style of play with Mo as a starter, we won't be changing our style of play much when we ask him to perform only those PG offensive skills that he can do adequately well.
