Chris Bosh jilts the Rockets and stays with the Heat. Talk about a major screw-over for Houston.

They're not getting Carmello, and there's not another max player on the market that isn't protected by RFA. They might be able to S&T for Greg Monroe or Eric Bledsoe, but I honestly think that's highly unlikely. Their best bet now is to match Parsons and field the same team they had last year minus Lin and Asik.

They got a pick for Asik, but gave one away to get rid of Lin. It's awesome to see this whole thing blow up in their faces so bad. Maybe they go for a 2nd tier guy before they match on Parsons, but they'd be better off preserving their limited cap space for a better run next year. They totally screwed the pooch by making Parsons a RFA. Even worse miscalculation that the Jazz on Gordon Hayward.

I was hoping that the Jazz could extend Burks and Kanter (reasonably) to avoid this nonsense next year. . . but some of these numbers are crazy. Jordan Hill. Jodie Meeks. Swaggy P. I can't see any RFA for next year extending in this environment.
