Stars break their losing streak vs the Heat JVs. Tonje 22 points Oscar 18 points 20 boards. Tonje on the GLeague season is averaging 20 ppg with shooting splits of 54/40/90. No Harkless again.

An interesting name popped up on the GLeague waiver wire today: Dennis Smith Jr. was the 9th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft two spots after Lauri and 4 spots ahead of Donovan Mitchell. He was playing for the Bucks GLeague team.

DSJ is a cautionary example of how important shooting and efficiency are in the NBA these days.
He had some seasons with pretty nice counting stats back when he was on a rookie contract and played for a bad Mavericks team, but it was all fool's gold. Inflated usage %, terrible shooting from everywhere (including the FT line), miserable overall efficiency (the dude has a career TS% average of 47.9!!), horrible defense.
DSJ was like a dirt poor man's Collin Sexton.

Stars lose a heart braker in OT to the Griz JVs. Mo Bamba with 24 points 15 boards and 6 blocked shots. Harkless and Oscar both out. The announcer said both are dealing with hamstring issues. Tonje was pretty dreadful and missed a killer free throw in the OT. New signee Seabron had 6 points.

The Knicks signed former first round pick Dillon Jones to a two way deal. He had been playing with the Blazer JVs. I bet Melo the Jazz Killer is dancing in the streets.
