Is it just me or does Gail seem to be taking more of a lead right now over Greg? She's been at both press conferences. Maybe Greg just had other business today.

KOC had that moment when he told Gail..."I'm spending more of YOUR money." And she laughed and said that was o.k. I know she's co-owner, but it just seems she's become a lot more involved this summer.
 
Its probably better this way honestly. If one guy was making all of the decisions, we'd end up with a lot less. But when an entire family has made a dedication to winning, then more money will be spent and bigger things will happen.
 
Better PR too. She's a sweet old lady, rather than some kid who inherited his dad's biz.
-- that's no criticism of Greg, that's just what he is. He may actually be an improvement over Larry. I like his willingness to go into the lux tax if need be.

She doesn't look like a complete douchebag like her son. So of course she's the face of the franchise.
 
The way I see it is Greg runs to his mommy and begs her, "Please, oh please, oh please mommy! I soooo want my team to win! Can I have Jefferson? Huh huh huh huh huh? Can I? I'll mow the lawn tomorrow... pleeeease... pretty pretty please mommy! Let me have him! AND Raja too! Remember Raja mommy? You liked him, remember! MooooOOom! I need a shot blocking center...mommy..that's it... UGH! GOSH! You NEVER let me have a shot blocking center..... :( ..... *fake cries* (Gail: "Okay, you can have a shot-blocking center, too") ... YAYYY! THANKS MOMMY! We're going to WIN!"

I actually think Gail is probably more willing to spend money than Greg is. Gail being older, knowing her husband died wanting one thing and that was a championship, she may be more willing to go for it than her son who is still trying to be the CEO of the entire business. She may be more focused on the entertainment side of it knowing how much joy her late husband got out of it.
 
I don't care who's in charge as long as it's Gail.

Larry was about Larry's pocket. Sure the team showed losses a few years, but guaranteed he never had to put a red cent into the biz from his own pocket. I wouldn't doubt he pulled plenty out while showing losses at the same time. Ask his dealership sales forces how he does it. He got plenty of good press for his other businesses from being an owner, use of the D Center, and plenty other synergies. Sure, he wanted to win, but lose money to do it? Kids please.

Gail doesn't seem to worship at the shrine of dollars that Larry built. If anything, she may spend, spend, spend as a tribute to Larry.
