What's new

Game 2: The Redemption: Utah Jazz @ Denver Nuggets (12/28/11, 7pm MST)

I think Alec Burks has already surpassed Raja Bell.
I agree, funny Harpring said we are wrong.Im getting tired of old JAZZ players having so much confidence and love for the vets. This team has no vets with leadership or without diminished skills or big holes in their game other than Milsap,so if we are going to lose then lets lose with the young guys learning to play with starter minutes.Heck they might even win some games for us,and it is at least exciting to watch the young players show us their skills .Im done watchin these vets on the bench with their whiney defeated loks on their faces.make your smartest move ever Corbin and play young not old like now. exeption ,,,Tinsley needs to run point.

It might be frustration talking, but I'm starting to feel like I would rather have watched the dwill drama we would have had this year over this steaming pile of bball...

I know it'll never happen, but how fun would an immediate round robin tournament be between the Jazz, Suns, Wizards, Nets & Pistons. Winner take all, and by that, they get to remain in the NBA.

I'm encouraged by Alec Burks' 6/9 shooting tonight. I know it was mostly in transition, but at least he gets in transition.

They need to run some more plays for Favors, cuts to the basket or something. Right now all he is does is play defense and might have a little of the AK disinterest going on.

THIS. Both games, we've gone to Jefferson (see: black hole) in 80% of our sets, with absolutely nothing but broken plays and put backs for Favors. If we built his confidence up by getting him involved in some pick and rolls, he may hit double digits sometime in the next year or two. Favors is the least of my worries.

He was our leading rebounder and our best interior defender. I'm not sure why he only got 17 minutes tonight.
I think he hasn't been as aggressive on d since he gets so many fouls called on him. He hasn't gotten a single block in the last three games if memory serves.

Agreed. It's Big Al. When he's in the game, Favors never gets the ball in the low post. All he can do is rebound. Both he and Kanter are a bit frightened to dribble.
