Game 5: Termination Game -- Jazz @ Thunder 4/25/2018 7:30 pm MST

Wow! I didn't realize chicken little had sooo many siblings. It was a terrible collapse but it'll be alright. We close out at home much the joy of 19,000 plus fans and our boys get to bask in the glory.
I sure hope the players don't think this way because this is how teams lose games and playoff series. The Thunder not taking the Jazz seriously is a significant reason why the Jazz have had so much success in this series, and it's a big reason the roster of the Thunder has underachieved.

Assuming victory is ****ing poison.

What time is the game on Friday have 10:45 infinity war tickets and assumed I was in the clear. Can’t beleive how badly this night has been ruined.

I walked to a park and now I’m sad at a park

Hopefully the game won't go into overtime so you don't miss the movie.

Every single thought and post has been about not looking toward the future or assuming anything. I was steadfast in always closing out hard, and never trusting a lead.

And then I just felt so confident that caution was thrown to the wind. And this ********:

We’re up by 25 on a team that has quit.

It could not have coincided more perfectly. It’s like the Jazz mindset completely matched my own.

Please delete my account and blame me for the loss.

Cmon, at best the OKC would be 60% to win game 7. The jazz have been far better than the Thunder going all the way back to January, and they already won there in this series. They also won 15ish games in a row on the road during that stretch. Certainly the home game is the best chance to win the series but they would still have a solid chance if it goes to 7.

Game 2 was the first win in OKC in years though. Very tough to win there twice in a series, especially if OKC has momentum going into it. I give us a 25% chance if they are on roll going into it. Must win Friday.

So I think this puts RW into hero mode. Historically that is good. You can guarantee Quinn is planning to exploit it.

Tbh this is the worst type of loss UTA could have got as it has the potential to carry over to the game six and turn the series around. Good news is UTA basically pounded OKC in two games at Vivint. So this confidence along with the crowd's support will set them back on track and they'll finish OKC off in a convincing fashion.

RW hero mode can win on any given night, and then there is George.

We had them right we're we wanted.

Rudy did choke that 5th foul away.

That 5th foul was some next level stupid by Rudy.

It happens. He's a stud with an eye on the prize. I'm sure he wishes he had that one back.

Quin should have sat him and focused on offense at the moment. OKC scoring was inevitable at that time but we didn't match buckets. At all.

In the 2016 finals there was a call suspend Draymond Green from Game 5 with the Warriors up 3-1. Rudy may as well have been suspended for the second half of this game. That changed momentum that couldn’t be stopped and woke up some special players on the other team.

Rudy goes out.....Jazz lose a 25 point lead.....Westbrook becomes Westbrook.....Thunder sit Carmelo....and get all momentum in this series back.

The way the Jazz lost tonight is the absolute worst way they could have lost. The series was over. The Thunder and specifically Russel Westbrook will show up Friday night. You let a special player wake up. I’m very concerned about Game 6.

Jazz have a huge problem: They let huge runs go on the road. Don't forget Game 2's 19-0 run by the Thunder. I think they had a 12-0 run during game 1 too.

I point to Gobert's offensive foul as the single most important factor in the game being lost and I'm sure he does too.

Rudy, you don't need to brazenly hook a pubescent 100-something pounder, especially when you're in foul trouble. I'm sure you know that.
