Obviously the theme is Valentine's Day. And since the Valentine's Day is stupid, this thread can be only stupid(Actually I just couldn’t find better ideas).

OKC Thunder are the team with the least losses in the league. They played their last game on Feb 10, against us, the Jazz. On the other hand, it’s the last game of a back to back to back for Utah Jazz. And we lost to the frigging NOH in the second one.

So, everything is clear, the Jazz are the favorite team. Let’s go! Lol :) jk.

Injuries :

For Thunder,

Eric Maynor will miss the remainder of the season: The Thunder announced that he had successful surgery to fix his torn ACL. He is expected to be ready for the start of training camp next season.

Ryan Reid : Had nasal surgery and expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

Thabo Sefolosha : Strained tendon in right foot is out indefinitely, day to day.

For Utah Jazz, there is no injury...

Paul Millsap is way to big of a factor in most games. If he plays well the Jazz play well. Play Burks and everyone else needs to STEP UP
 
Is it true that OKC has had 3+ days off and we're facing them, in their house, on the tail end of a back-to-back-to-back? Great scheduling, NBA.
 
Just like every game this year so far, it's up to the refs. If they call fouls when Millsap gets hacked, the game will be close and fun to watch. If they do what they've done most of the season and not give Millsap any calls, but instead call every touch foul on him...Jazz lose by 15

Thunder by at least 20. I wouldn't be surprised to see us down by 30 at some point...

If we were gonna go 2-3, we needed to get those first two... This is gonna get ugly folks...

If we play hard, we DON'T lose to teams like New Orleans no matter what the refs do.
 
If Kanye doesn't show up to play, I just can't see how Jay-z will keep him around much longer. This could lead to someone being choked with fish sticks.



Jazz need to come out with energy and keep it throughout the whole game, even if we do that it's a tough win.
 
Did you know the last time OKC played was against us on friday? Meanwhile, we are playing our 4th game in those same 5 days. Yeah, that's fair.

If ever there was a game to use the fatigue excuse, it might be this one.

Teams on B2B2B's have actually faired decently. OKC having all the time off might work to our advantage. It will also be a revenge game for the whopping they put on us, we did get revenge on Denver earlier in the year for the same thing. Could be that one game where not a soul expects a win but it happens.

Playing at OKC isn't exactly like going to LA to face the Lakers, we have had some success there in the past. And one of the positives from that craptacular game was a player who obviously should be getting playing time, could be a positive for us. #FreeAlecBurks no more. I think Millsap will have a solid bounce back game and having some depth should help. Our bench is still one of the best in the league.

Call me crazy but I think we compete and give ourselves a chance to win.
 
My prediction is that Corbin will stick with the same crappy substitution pattern that we've seen for the last 25+ years, Burks may or may not get into the game, Evans will definitely not get into the game (because for some reason we don't want a spark plug on the court even when we're getting destroyed), Harris will have 6 turnovers, CJ will go 1-5 the 3-point line and the Jazz will shoot 20-25 less free throws than the Thunder.
 
The good news is, OKC hasn't played since Friday. Maybe they'll show up rusty??? Maybe Durant and Westbrook will forget there's a game tonight?

Nah, thunder would still win. We have Devin harris running the point and our 3 point shooting still sucks. Thunder by at least 20.
 
The only way the Jazz should ever win a game is with luck, the other team gets poisoned, or Sap and Jefferson just destroy the interior. Other than that we should never, ever win a game. Harris`s body language suggests he belongs in a mental ward. Gordon`s getting better but makes alot of rookie mistakes, CJ is CJ, Howard`s washed up, Watson tries - but just doesn`t have what it takes.

It`s getting very hard to even watch this team any more. Borderline allstar interior, near D-League wing/guard play. KOC do SOMETHING soon about these losers in the backcourt. (keep Gordon though, he`s improving)
