Something must be wrong w/ESPN's box score. Kanter played 4 mins and Burks only played 10.

So last years' lotto for us played 14 mins together?

There is either something wrong w/ESPN's box score or Ty Corbin was a complete dumbass this game.

You draft top talent and then don't play it?

lol... Raja Bell, CJ, and Josh Howard... 58 mins combined, 4-22 shooting, 12 points. That seems about right...

So maybe ESPN's boxscore really isn't broken?

Can someone who watched the game fill me in? What the hell was Corbin doing? Why did Burks and Kanter hardly play?

I work till 8 so I didn't see anything but patches. Every time I was able to steal a look Utah was being called for a foul. There was definitely more than once that I saw more and it involved CJ doing something ineffectively.

Kanter really sucked out there. Whether he should have played more in spite of that is another debate, but I think Corbin was thinking might as well give Evans some minutes if Kanter was going to suck it up that bad.

As for Burks, I can't explain why he didn't get minutes until the 4th. Just more of Corbin's wacky "let's play the vets even though they suck" rotations, though he did yank CJ out when he made a couple awful plays and finally put Burks in.

CJ had a horrible game.... Again...

And Bell and Howard were horrible... Again...

To me, I'd rather see Hayward, Burks, and Evans play 48 mins than see another minute played by Bell, Howard, or CJ. I'm dead serious. I'm so sick of watching these worthless vets (who aren't even going to be on this roster next year) steal minutes away from players that actually are going to be with this organization.

this is pissing me off.
 
I'm not worried about Bell and Howard. Those guys will show up.

CJ is another matter and is the difference between the playing rotation of the bigs vs. the wings.

Unfortunately for us I cannot see any rational GM taking him on. I also do not see Corbin rewarding Burks until he consistently does something within the offense that is a positive. Sadly our coach has not given up on CJ. And I thought I would be the last one.
 
Just sit Miles or release him. He's horrible on the road.
If we didn't have any other options fine, but the point is we do.

i didnt see the game but why kanter played 4? its ridiculous

Cj had a horrible game from the beginning. He made his 1st shot as a 3 but that it.

I think Ty gets squeamish with burks against tier 1 teams. Do not know why

I actually do think Hayward is developing more with the 2 nd unit. He is part of the offense and is more ageessive. He played well but had 2 turnovers. I think turner was a little to quick for him
 
Everything was fine when Raja was injured.

And now the rotation is not so good (with Burks on the bench and Kanter less minutes)
 
I am with Thriller here. I didn't even watch the game last night because I am just so disgusted with the veterans playing over the young guys. I have had enough. 32 years of the same crap. PLAY the BEST players PERIOD. I swear if the Jazz don't get rid of CJ, Howard, either AJ or Millsap and possible Raja I am going to scream. It is time to rebuild and not be a wasteland for wash-up vets to pad their career stats. $#%$&%#$$

Really? And how can you conclude that he really sucked when he only played 2:15 during the first 46 minutes of the game? Why does CJ and Raja get 15 minutes before Corbin decides that they suck, while Kanter only gets 2 minutes?
