Love the truly irrational hate for Exum.

Look at the statlines of our other perimeter players. IF Exum's good game can be attributed to the poor perimeter and/or interior defense of the Blazers, then surely at least one of our other perimeter players would have had a career night, especially Mitchell, who also has a quick first step and can get to the rim easily against poor defenders.

This is how you know you're just a hater: when your disguised arguments against the guy you hate don't even make sense. Mitchell would have gone off for 40 if the argument made any sense at all.

The Blazers are an average defensive team. If you want to argue against Exum, use his dismal PER or BPM, but at least have the balls to recognize when he has a single good game.

Uhh, Exum is playing against the backups bud. The backups are the exceptionally poor defenders. The starters are suboar on the perimeter, but they also have Aminu/Harmless for switching and Nurkic on the interior.

Its not hating to point out facts that Myers Leonard, Nik Stauskus, and Seth Curry are all bottom tier defensively

I like that on a huge national stage Rudy got 7 blocks, Mitchell had a candidate for alley-oop of the year and the Jazz blew out a conference rival.

But also, the nightmare schedule is over. In the process, they traded a peg that didn’t fit for one of the greatest shooters of all-time and a guy that gets more defensive ability out of his body than anyone in the league.

Locke mentioned last night that that was going to be only the 5th game all season that they didn’t have to fly between games. That is truly mind-boggling.

He did and I think he did OK in those minutes offensively. Same is better at D than Curry, it he isn't a guy who pressures the ball either.
