Miami’s kind of interesting with the interns (rookie scale guys) they can include.

None of them can offer much in the way of picks, even if they reroute players for picks.

To your point that I have now adopted, if the Thunder are out, we are uniquely positioned as a team on the rise with enough picks to make them move.

I read somewhere though that MIA can actually offer a pretty decent package (including 4 FRPs) next offseason.

This whole things sucks for trade deadline tho. I said it right when this started. If Giannis isnt moved there are a lot of teams who will "keep powder dry" to some extent right now. Even teams like Houston and Spurs who arent currently in the race are probably considering doing so just in case they get exposed in the playoffs.
