Team meeting after Gobert's remark.

Sometimes I get the impression that Snyder may be too much of a control freak and that he actually may be discouraging the interchange of free thought among teammates. I watched the game, and in my opinion somebody needed to say something. If not the coach then its' best player. Wish he was a little more like Tyronn Lue or even Steve Kerr in that respect.
Gobert, sounding as if he were in damage-control mode, said he didn’t mean to make it sound personal on Saturday in Los Angeles even if his pointed remarks came across that way.
He is saying how he sounded. If he sounded that way he sounded that way.Not a fan of that line from the article. How about "Gobert, sounding as if he were mending some fences, said he..."
Why slag him off in the article?

You are reading way too much into itIt's a kinder way to say the same thing about a subjective judgment call. Mending fences=damage control, but doesn't necessarily imply Rudy was being disingenuous the same way that "damage control" could. Unless maximizing drama is the goal of the piece. More likely the reporter used a stock phrase without thinking too much about it.

hi guys,
I'm so glad to find here some positivity about rudy's declarations! you know I have the impression that most of people (just my feeling) in France think that Rudy is just so arrogant (like when he said he thinks he was the best center). We have some press article where people criticize Rudy and say he is not humble enought. As a french and jazz / rudy's fan, I just think that he is the most valuable guy in this team (the guy you can't play without), the heart and the vocal leader. And because he is all these things he have the legitimacy to speak and motivate his teammates. I don't know if Im really objective as rudy's fan thinking that he made the good thing but its good to see you guys encouraging Rudy.
What do you really think about it? Do you think he is arrogant? Just think sometimes people are just jealous and see arrogance instead of confidence.
Once again sorry for my english, but I'm sure you understood what I mean.
Locke's re-hash of Rudy's comments this morning were all very toe the company line PC garbage I'm guessing that Quin and a few other snowflakes in the organization decided they had to stamp out anyone airing dirty laundry in public.
Rudy was right.
Same as his yes-man comments on why Quin decided Dante shouldn't play after a terrible game.

Rudy shouldn't be airing dirty laundry and putting himself above the teamike that. If he's going to say anything to the media he needs to use we not them. IMO Rudy was frustrated over one bad stretch and didn't think before he reacted. This team has fight tooth and nail to get to where they are while dealing with very tough injury situations. No player is going to be perfect Rudy included. He's my favorite player, but even I can recognize when someone has screwed up. To say that some players aren't competing is asinine.
the truth hurts
we played much harder yesterday than in quite a few days before. Not an ideal situation not something that should be repeated, but it may not have been a bad thing to happen.
And i like listening to Locke but there's no denying he's never going to bite the hand that feeds him.

Did we play harder or did we just play a ****tier team, hit open shots, and were playing at home? I lean toward the latter.
