I remember calling Clifford Robertson "Cheerio-head" as a kid because he wore a headband. It was DEFINITELY more unusual having a player wear a headband than wrist bands,.. even if they were Malone's wristbands

So I can't have a different opinion from you about what I find distracting?

Most players have something on their head, its called hair. So a headband isn't that jarring to me. And even in normal life, you are use to seeing people wear hats. Various types of headwear or different styles of haircuts are just normal things. I'm use to the head area of people being unique things, so the sight of a headband doesn't trigger any kind of reaction or thought. I don't even notice it unless I'm consciously trying to.

Its just something about wristbands that always stand out to me. Its like an optical illusion that makes a players shot motion seem strange.
