Gordon Hayward AKA KOBE killer AKA AllSTAR

Not true. He played great for Russia and won gold by being great teammate and sharing the ball with other stars on that team - Holden and Khryapa, he did not need to be the man and take winning shot in final game it was Holden. You AK haters probably never saw him playing for Russia, it would be eye opener how good of a team player AK is.
He was still producing same great numbers in 2006 with Boozer and Memo. Only in 2007 since Sloan reversed back to his old 1 to 4 orriented offense and left AK out of it then his production dropped and all this stupid drama started. I am tired of going all over it again... only blind people can't see that Sloan and Dwill were two most responsible people for it.

I bet you are also very good in WOW, and you are the star on your WOW Guild.
Do you work well as a good teammate there?
I bet WOW is the only place you can go where you don't have a Sloan, or Masha bossing you around, and telling you what to do.
I get it, some people work well under pressure, other people need a hug and to be told they are awesome and dang it, people like them.

I'm assuming you are the real AK because of the inside information you have into his personal psyche.
I'm still a huge fan AK. You are awesome, and keep up the good work.

Lol. So more minutes means that you're more important in a teams offense? Same with "touches"?? Any smart basketball fan knows that if a player has the most field goal attempts on the entire team, it is because the offense is being focused on him. You don't seem to understand this, so I have no point in explaining it any further..

Dude, you so wrong that it is hilarious. Tell me who has most touches in Boston and who has most FG attempts? Get it?
You just ignoring the fact that you DID NOT WATCH the games where AK was MVP of Eurobasket. You would know better that it was beautiful team basketball to watch where AK was most efficient scorer without having most touches, minutes or whatever. They SHARED the ball equaly. That was not the case in 2007 on Jazz team.

But put him with real NBA talent where he has to compete to be one of the 3 of 4 best on the team, and he wilts and cries and quits.
.

He did not wilt or cry in 2006 with Boozer and Memo. He was still the best player on that team. In fact without him Jazz went on 3-18 losing streak. Just watch how he will play when he will be back in NBA again to prove you wrong.

No one doubts what he is CAPABLE of. I (we?) just got frustrated because we knew he was capable of great things, but other than one year he just didn't leave it all on the court. His lackadaisical approach and inability to share the spotlight short-circuited all he was capable of here. I have no doubt, as long as he is the center of the team, that he can shine in the NBA again. But if he isn't the top dog, look for more of the same.

I liked AK, and to this day I still do. I applauded the contract when we locked him down long-term. But it was all fool's gold, since that is the term en vogue. I would love to see him succeed and I was happy for him and his success in Russia. He lucked into a situation where he could allow himself to shine, since he was the center of an otherwise solid team that could compete. But take him out of the lime-light and he will just fold again.

So you saying one year? really? So he did not leave it all while playing with Stockton and Malone? He did not leave it all in 2006 while he lead NBA in blocks? I would agree that he did not leave it all in some games in 2007 regular season due to reasons I mentioned already, and even in that year Jazz probably would have not won playoff series vs GSW without AK playing at his best. Plus he was most important in shutting down Tmac in games 6 and 7 vs Rockets.

Hayward's defense was poor. And I'm still trying to figure out how he only got credited with 1 TO. He must have lost the ball 5 times. For that matter, his assists were largely of the "the guy I passed to happened to score variety."

But you see great flashes with the kid. I've been impressed several times this season when he gets way under the basket and finds an outlet pass. He shows good instincts on the very few pick and rolls he's been given. He's been solid on the break even if the results aren't always there. As one example, he picked up a charge the other night (the learning curve) but made a real nice bounce pass in the process. He's got real skill.

Better that then what the point guards have been giving us. At least he is passing.

Edit: Glad Corbin got onto him for that horrible D
