What's new

Gordon Hayward's Starcraft 2 LiveStream

Assumptions; earlier in the cast (when i was watching) said he had 2 workouts during the day. Let the man take a load off without making too much out of it.

Gaining weight has more to do with proper regime including 10+ hours of regular sleep than how many times you actually go to the gym.

More? No. I'd say both diet and time spent at the gym are more important than sleep, however, sleep is still important. 10 hours is a lot. 10+ is too much.

We are talking 10 pounds of muscles in 3 months here. That's 2 months of gaining weight and 1 month of stripping fat. First phase requires at least 9 hours of sleep, second even more of the same. I saw plenty of athletes who hit ceiling or plateau because they hadn't had enough of sleep. Assuming his workout's including plenty of aerobic exercises it's not feasible to gain weight without a lot of sleep unless he is some kind of a nature freak.

I haven't played Starcraft II since they nerfed Void Rays to all get out.

A friend and I once reaper/Void Ray rushed two random opponents twice and found they were turtling at a choke point outside their mains. That's entertainment, right there.

Us good Protoss still use Void Rays and make people cry.

Isn't that right, Peterz? Muahaha!

Oregon Trail was the beeeeeees kneeeees.

"You have died of dysentery"

Anyone else glean some tidbits out of paying attention to that boring ***** last night?

So we agree because 9 hours happens to be less than ten. First you said more than 10, now you say 9. Do you have a real source that sleep has anything to do with putting on weight? Diet and his actual workout play a much bigger role.

You guys need to relax a little. He stayed up playing video games one night, it doesn't mean he has quit basketball.

That's my point... This guy's arguing that unless he gets 10+ hours of sleep he isn't committed to his weight gain. I disagree.
