It really helps to explain the urgency of the current dismantling of the roster. Danny Ainge realized that the most recent iteration of the team wasn’t going to advance past the 2nd round at best. . . so he’s going to tear it down to the foundation and build it up again based on his team building philosophy. It’s kind of interesting to see that there’s likely to be NO traces of the team DL built by this time next season. I’ve loved having Mitchell and Gobert, but the team built around them had some serious flaws in the postseason. I’m really excited for this new phase of the Jazz and I’m hopeful that it brings about the players that can lead us to an actual championship.
