Oh, sorry, I guess lapses come more and more with age. I never actually brought it to his attention. He used to cheat on his wife all the time so I'm sure that the text was meant for someone other than her (or me). I didn't really see a need to bring it up and ask him who he was trying to text because it was none of my business.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and have to put two and two together for you but it sounds like your boss is/was banging your wife. He probably hit your name instead of hers when he went to text her that he loved her, one of his many conquests you admitted he had.

Not really bad but funny to those in the know. I have a really bad cussing problem but am able to limit it somewhat to certain situations (trying to do better). Coaching a team at the Ute Shoot about a month ago and the head coach texts me wanting to know how things are going. No it wasn't my HC it was my sister who had a son playing there. But I wasn't playing close attention and responded too quickly. I text back "Cooper is "effing" good. But I send it to my sister instead who has never heard me say a single cussword.

I think something that will help is getting custom sounds/vibs for certain contacts.
 
i sent a text that described a graphic, sexy, and strange dream over two paragraphs long over to the wrong girl. She asked me about the next day and almost died laughing. My gf on the other hand didn't find it very funny.

I got a single buddy who is a player (at age 48 no less) and mis-texts all the time. I gotta think it's mostly an issue for single people. Maybe if you text a lot with your job.
 
I accidentally sent a nude picture of myself to my mom. Wow, was that embarrassing. I was REALLY shocked when she sent one back.

That's way funny. A couple of guys I work with joked once about making up some shirts that said, "Bob Jones (not my boss' real name) slept with my wife and all I got was this lousy t-shirt".
