Yeah he really should come in and get a double double with all those minutes he gets. Come on guys, really?
Don't know why almost all of you were hyped about him. He just looks terrible, I'm sorry, no denying it. Only thing he has shown is he can pass, why not just get some one off church ball to do that
Xavier Henry was my first choice. I had even warmed up to taking Cole Aldrich, but that pick really came out of left field. Final judgments on the pick probably can't be made for a few years. It's good the Jazz aren't depending on him to win, so I just hope he becomes a legit starter before his contract is up. Stupid Knicks!
I don't think anyone's expecting that. Just hoping he'd at least show a positive +/- every once in a while. He's only a couple mins less than big fess per game. Don't even get me started with evans' productivity in basically the same amount of time as hayward
...Hayward is pacing himself! He's a "thinking man's" basketball player! He's absorbing all the good things the Jazz do....and will be implementing them shortly!
He was also BY FAR the worst player on the court when the Bucks faced the Jazz. All he could do was commit fouls and get his **** stuffed.By the way my boy Larry Sanders almost had a triple double in only his second start of the season. 8 blocked shots. Just staying.
Evans has outplayed Hayward but people forget Evans is 23 years old and Hayward is only 20 years.
Before we pronounce him a bust prematurely, as many on this board are wont to do (Deron -- too fat, too slow, wasted pick, Paul better, yadda yadda), we should remember one game that gave us a glimpse of his potential: Oct. 17 against the Lakers at the Staples Center. Hayward's line: 8-10, 26 points, good defense and rebounding. It may have been an aberration, but at least for one night he looked great.
