Maybe, but they were going to lose Bradley next year. They got Morris, who is a solid player (even though I dont love him), who is on a cheap 2 year contract and he fits what they are trying to build ( a team full of 6'8 guys who can handle/score). They also probably think he can be a lot better outside of Detroit's terrible offense and in an elite offense, which is probably true. Utah couldn't give them a player, and they obviously wanted to keep depth and not just give away a player while getting nothing back.
