I don't think we've had as good of a post defender in Kanter since Malone. His up and under move over 3 Lakers was probably the best move I've seen out of him. He's slowly gaining confidence. I think a few weeks ago he wouldn't have even tried backing him down. Now.... He's starting to back people down, take some shots, and is even figuring out how to get his shot off quicker to not get blocked.

Kanter is learning better how to finish around the rim. the first highlight notice how he keeps the ball up high and goes right back up. two other times he uses his body(butt) to clear space to get a shot off. another time he uses a few fakes coupled with good footwork to get a clear shot at the rim. he also wasn't getting too far under the hoop like he has before. i think he still got stuffed last game, but it was very encouraging to see him make these adjustments.

Kanter has a serious problem with pulling the ball down and even dribbling once before going back up with it. Somebody needs to teach that boy to go up, stay up and shoot!

Kanter's offensive moves are reeling off a bit faster, and he is timing his pump fakes (etc.) based on what the defense gives him. Earlier it seemed he was going to certain moves more as a way of establishing his own comfort rather than as a tool to break down a particular situation.

Good to see.

I laughed at that too.
I just have a hard time deciding who to listen to during a game, Locke, Boler or nothing.
I usually end up with nothing. I can't take the "left handed hooker", "two handed hunk of love", "slams down another 3 pointer" drivel that comes from these guys.
