Hood a better player than Hayward

A year from now most of you will see your follies. I call it the Boozer phenomenon there is always one player who os held to a higher esteem then he deserves. Hood is more solid as a rookie just saying.

I would agree with this statement. It's very unpopular to point out any flaws from Hayward around these parts though, I know this well. Good player, but definitely not the godly 1st scoring option in our team that many claim him to be.

I mean this year he might have been the leading scorer, but he wouldn't be it in a championship caliber team is what I'm trying to say. Unless we pretend to win it all the Spurs way, with no outstanding scoring superstar.

He's the 17th highest scoring player in the NBA this year without a true PG to create anything for him...exactly what were you expecting of our 1st scoring option? I think most people are aware of Hayward's flaws, but he's a very good player and he has been playing very well as our first option this year. That isn't debatable.

Everything is debatable in James' world. I didn't sign up to follow a main stream of ideas that has led us to not one championship ring. Think outside the box.

The 17th highest scorer, that puts 16 ahead of him. By the 4th/5th season I should have already seen the superstar status in him, this also being making who you play with better by your own means. Yeah with Westbrook or Curry he would probably look better I'll give you that...

The grudge I hold with Hayward is also about his attitude. He seems a bit soft mentally, physically he's aggresive and all attacking the rim at times. But he needs to show more passion given what is expected from him. I'd love to see how he reacts to a wet willie for the 2nd time...

If you look at the stats, pretty much everybody plays better with Hayward on the court compared to when he's off the court. So yes, he does make his teammates better. There really aren't that many players in the league that can do what he can.

Superstar? I wouldn't say so, but there are very, very few superstars! He should be an all-star though, he's easily one of the best players in the WC.

Exactly how does he seem soft mentally? Please explain this to me.

The lack of passion, expresiviness, aggresiviness. How many times do opponents have to beat him up every time he attacks the rim until he turns back and confronts them? In this league you hold your ground, build some respect around you about being a guy that won't put up with any bullying on the court. This has been more noticeable for me this year, as if he's been well scouted in these regards. It also doesn't help in getting many foul calls that he has well deserved. I mean get a T for once in your life, make a commitment one game to get a T!

Lol.

This is going to hard for you Hayward lovers to stomach. But, all things being equal Hood has a higher upside especially for this being his first year. I know that all of you think that Haywood or Hood are SG. Well, they are not they are SF. Burks, and Milsap are our SG. I know that the Hayward fans are always super impressed with the whole point forward garbage. Well, Joe Ingles and Hood look to have just as much of an ability to play the point forward position. Well, I know that this is going to throw you guys into a tissy fit because the one untouchable player on this team is Gordumb Hayward.

Hood essentially played 3 seasons of college. He is probably as good as he is going to get.

Jimmy Butler played in college for three years.

He sure didn't improve since his rookie NBA year *shrugs shoulders*

Please tell me this wouldn't have made you turn back and punch that worthless piece of **** in the face...

A team filled with serial killers would obviously be the best. They'd be the toughest dudes around.
